A Creative Piece Going into the Course.
This was my first attempt in drawing a human complexion (which in this case happened to be of myself). It was in 2011 and I can definitely say that more time was spent in frustration over not being able to mix an appropriate skin colour; rather than actually creating the portrait itself. It was this process from which I developed the realisation that having many attempts at something and just going for it was far more rewarding than putting all my energy into getting it right the first time.

A Great Piece of Architecture
1 Bligh St, Sydney
Mainly known for its success in combining sustainability, aesthetics and functionality in its design, this office building caught my attention as soon as I realised it was entirely encased by glass. The idea of having the activities within each space being visible from any position surrounding and inside the complex really intrigued me.

An Original Photo
I took this on my way home one afternoon, it was right by where I lived. The intensity of the sunset only lasted a few seconds for me to capture my favourite time of the day. I will always be reminded of the beam of warmth in the winter chill when observing the details in this photo.
